"The Taste" is BACK! - The Rotary Club of Claremont's Nona Tirre and Bob Hyde describe the exciting return of the "Taste of Claremont "

The annual "Taste of Claremont" has been one of Claremont's main staples of community entertainment, fellowship and contribution to a number of good causes, which many have enjoyed for decades.  The most recent years' events were cancelled due to COVID considerations.  But, now, the "Taste of Claremont" is back, and is shaping up to be one of the best ever.

The Rotary Club of Claremont's Nona Tirre - the key organizer behind the ToC for 2022 - and Bob Hyde - the originator of the ToC and the visionary that drove it's early growth - joined Claremont Speaks to discuss the Rotary Club's pinnacle fundraising event, scheduled for April 23, 2022.  With facts, figures and a generous helping of wit and humor, Nona and Bob converse about the past contributions of the Rotary Club, the value to the community and the benefits to those whom are helped by the funds raised.  Bob Hyde, who started The Taste over 20 years ago, recounts the genesis, evolution and social/economic value of the ToC to the visitors and participants alike.  Nona and Bob outline the benefits of the event and the Rotary Club to the community and to the people in need and charities they support.  They then reveal the help which the funds raised by the event provide to the many key beneficiaries in Claremont and around the world.  Likely never has helping people so seriously in need ever tasted this good or been as much fun.

Nona and Bob, anticipating this year's event to include the very best aspects of The Taste, include a preview of the food and music, then invite and encourage attendees and participating restaurants to join in the celebration of the ToC's return.  Whether you have been before or this year's event will be your first, listening to the entertaining team of Tirre and Hyde will unarguably serve to whet your appetite for the anticipated return of The Taste of Claremont.
